Cecilia QuartetThis is the 3rd of 3 seasons in which MTO has presented the Cecilia on this series. Formed in fall 2004 at U of T, the quartet worked with the Emerson, the Tokyo, the Penderecki and the St. Lawrence. After benefiting from support from both U of T and the Royal Conservatory, the Cecilia is enjoying a residency at San Diego State University. MARINA HOOVER is an accomplished cellist who now lives in Chicago and keeps busy with performing, her family of 3 sons, and playing tennis. (See also SLSQ April 2.)

HSIN-YUN HUANG is an accomplished violist, formerly of the Brentano Quartet (see page 3), and now enjoying an international solo and chamber music career. Born in Taiwan, educated in the UK and at both Curtis and Juilliard, she now resides in New York and teaches at both Mannes and Juilliard.
